On the inaugural day of the Navaratri Brahmotsavams, Lord Malayappaswamy along with his consorts was taken on a Bangaru Tiruchi vahanam procession on the four mada streets in Tirumala, Tirupati.

Chennai’s Madhavaram gets a multi-level bus stand

TN CM Edappaadi K Palaniswami flags off 471 new buses from the Secretariat for eight Transport Corporations.
He also inaugurated a multi-level bus stand at Madhavaram via Video Conferencing . 42 Buses can be operated simultaneously from the bus this stand. The first level has parking facility for 48 buses.
The Govt also renamed today the Koyambedu bus terminus after M.G.R.

For the first time in Tamil Nadu, automatic recording of attendance of students and facility to send SMS was introduced at the Porur Government Girl’s Higher Secondary School by TN Education Minister K.A Sengottaiyan on Tuesday, 9th October 2018.
With this modern technology, the moment students walk into the school premises wearing their ID card, SMS will be sent to their parent’s cell phone number. In the evening, once the students leave the school SMS will automatically be sent to their parents.
