I condemn the malicious distortion of my words: Shashi Tharoor
I was asked for my personal opinion at a literary festival & gave it as such. I am not a Spokesperson for my party & did not claim to be speaking for INC India.
I condemn the malicious distortion of my words by some media in the service of political masters. I said: “most Hindus would want a temple at what they believe to be Ram’s birthplace. But no good Hindu would want it to be built by destroying another’s place of worship.”

Recognizing one Divinity in every form and every name is the celebration of Navratri.
Fifth day of Navratri2018 celebrations with chants as per vedic tradition reverberated in Yagnashala in presence of Sri Sri at The Art of Living International Center, Bengaluru.
Desire is like a thorn in the fence. If it’s in the fence it’s fine but if it enters your heart it hurts. If it’s there pluck it from the heart and put it in the fence. That’s why you give it to the Mother Divine by putting in the fire:
