Gratitude to the Japanese people for their affection: PM Modi

Held fruitful and extensive talks with PM Abe Shinzo. Today’s discussions focused on aspects relating to better economic ties, stronger cooperation in areas of defence and security.

My two day Japan visit consisted of a wide range of programmes, where I got to interact with various stakeholders of the India-Japan partnership. The visit will further strengthen the India-Japan relationship, be it in trade, technology or people-to-people ties.

Gratitude to the Japanese people for their affection. I will always remember PM Abe Shinzo’s kind gesture of taking me to his home. It is always a delight to meet him and discuss the way ahead for India-Japan ties. I thank him for his hospitality.
