Among us there are Common People, Achievers, Eminent personalities, Scholars, Leaders and several others.

Its very rare that a common man does something that is not very common and still wants to remain a common man.

Udaya Sankar, a Regional lead of NASSCOM is the one we are referring to.

A frantic call from his wife and a picture of a cyclone devastated house made Udaya Sankar jump into relief work in the Gaja Cyclone affected Delta Districts. In association with education institutions he and his team have been in the field for 25 days and still continuing to help the cyclone affected people.

Nothing else can be more authentic than a first hand narration by Udaya Sankar of the ground situation in the Delta districts.

Don’t miss his Exclusive VIDEO interview to tamilnaadulive to know why his work is being appreciated.

PM to inaugurate the Western Peripheral Expressway tomorrow

The Western Peripheral Expressway, which was originally scheduled for 2009 has taken 15 long years to complete. It will be inaugurated and dedicated to the citizens by PM Narendra Modi tomorrow.

western peripheral.jpg

Apart from causing inconvenience to citizens, delays also cause cost overruns thereby making the projects more expensive than their original budgets. Our govt led by PM Narendra Modi has diligently identified all such projects & has been completing them in record time.

The Western Peripheral Expressway was proposed in 2003 and was stuck due to inefficient management, lack of political will, squabbles & quarrels ever since. However the project was revived in 2014 and also upgraded to a six-lane expressway.

The 53-km stretch between Manesar & Palwal was opened for public use on 5th April 2016 in record time. Now, as the Expressway is being inaugurated tomorrow, it reflects our dedication towards development & progress Tweets Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State for Housing & Urban Affairs.
